Over 80 youth received flights today with the Young Eagle Chapter.  Hands on events included building and flying 2 types of rockets and airplanes that really soared into the sky.  The museum was open for free tours, a cool 3 wheeled car and a fire truck were on display.  AIAA and SWIC shared opportunities for scholarships and education.  Our Chapter shared stories about the accomplishments of the Airmen.  Do you know “Watch Me” or “Mama’s Rules”?  Do you know who took first place in the first gunnery competition? Those that could share 5 facts about the Airmen could choose a special gift. The Civil Air Patrol had two flight simulators up and running.      Thanks to the current members, volunteers and joining members who attended the event.
