The following is an opportunity for college students to complete some oral histories and earn money for doing so.

I received a grant to complete 25 interviews for the Voices Of Change Collection. College students completing interviews will receive $100 per interview of women activists from all over the country. The interviews will be conducted on Zoom. Compensation for the completed interviews will be awarded following the completion of your project and upon receipt of the completed interviews and associated release forms.

I am looking for serious, committed students to work with me from now until August 31, 2022. If your first interview is accepted, you can do more. If you are interested, submit your resume to me at lbratton@tuskegee.edu by May 15, 2022.

Your first two interviews will be with women who are affiliated with Tuskegee University or the city of Tuskegee. In your cover letter, include at least one Tuskegee woman you would like to interview.

Don’t worry if you don’t have experience. If you are willing to learn, have a strong work ethic, and have excellent follow through, you will be fine. I will train you on how to conduct oral histories and provide assistance and support throughout this project.
