On a bright August day, 24 young participants took to the skies during our 2024 Tyrell Rhodes Discovery Flight, held in partnership with Henderson Aviation and the Hugh J. White Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. Students ages 8 to 18 experienced the thrill of flight firsthand—many for the very first time! From pre-flight briefings to hands-on control in the cockpit with certified pilots, it was a day of inspiration, learning, and honoring the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.
