The Third Annual Tyrell Rhodes Discovery Flight took place on May 23, 2026, at Spirit of St. Louis Airport. Despite a brief weather delay, the skies cleared and 24 young aviators experienced the excitement of flight firsthand.

Through a partnership between Henderson Aviation Resources, the Hugh J. White Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen, Inc., and Elite Aviation, young people ages 8–18 were introduced to aviation, aerospace, STEM careers, and the inspiring legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen and Tyrell Rhodes.

The day included discovery flights, aviation education, hands-on learning, mentorship, and plenty of opportunities to explore future career pathways. Most importantly, there were countless smiles, excited faces, and proud family moments as dreams took flight.
